Smarthandle™ Reaches Finals of Crystal Cabin Awards
AeroSmart Technologies Ltd’s revolutionary new product, the Smarthandle™, has been nominated as a finalist in this year’s Crystal Cabin Awards, run in conjunction with the Aircraft Interiors Exhibition in Hamburg.
The Smarthandle™ was nominated in the ‘Greener Cabin, Health and Safety’ category and was chosen from a field of over 40 entries from ten different countries. It was eventually placed second in its category.
Mike Farmer, managing director, AeroSmart Technologies, presented and demonstrated the features and benefits of the Smarthandle™ to
an international high-profile judging panel consisting of airline and aircraft manufacturer representatives, scientists and specialised journalists.
Walter Birkhan, project director of the joint initiative ‘Hamburg – The place for aviation’, commented: “Each of the participants would have deserved a trophy, given that all the entries were of the highest quality. It was a hard choice for the judging panel.”
